Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By messaging a WhatsApp number operated by Stelix Media Solutions Sdn Bhd("Stelix") and connected to the Sembang customer-service agent ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not message the Service.

2. The Service

Sembang is an AI-assisted customer-service tool operated by Stelix. Inbound messages may be processed by automated systems (including AI models from Anthropic and OpenAI) before being routed to a human team member where appropriate. See our Privacy Policy for details on data processing.

The Service is provided as a convenience for prospective and existing Stelix customers to enquire about Stelix products and services. It is not a substitute for written contracts or legally binding communications. Material agreements with Stelix must be confirmed in writing through standard contractual channels.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Send unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or threatening content.
  • Attempt to disrupt, probe, or reverse-engineer the underlying systems.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or content that violates Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy.
  • Submit content you do not have the right to share, including third-party personal data.

Stelix reserves the right to block, disconnect, or refuse to respond to any user violating these terms.

4. AI-generated replies

Replies you receive may be generated or assisted by AI. While we take care to ensure accuracy, AI replies are not guaranteedto be free of errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. You should not rely on an AI reply as a final or legally binding statement of Stelix's position. For commitments affecting an order, contract, or payment, please confirm with a Stelix team member identified by name in the conversation.

5. WhatsApp messaging rates

Standard WhatsApp data charges from your mobile carrier may apply. Stelix does not charge for messages sent or received through the Service.

6. Intellectual property

Stelix retains all rights to its name, logo, content, and the Service software. You retain ownership of the content you send to us. By sending content, you grant Stelix a limited licence to process it solely for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Stelix does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that AI replies will meet any specific standard of accuracy.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Stelix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Stelix's total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed RM 100 (one hundred Malaysian Ringgit).

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. You may stop using the Service by replying STOP or BERHENTI. Stelix may discontinue the Service or refuse service to any user at its sole discretion.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
